Welcome to Tea Bar

506 Driggs Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211, United States

General Info

Tucked along 506 Driggs Ave in Brooklyn, this cozy tea bar brings a relaxed, neighborhood vibe that feels instantly welcoming. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere leans casual yet thoughtfully curated, making it a comfortable spot whether you’re stopping by for a quick takeout or settling in for a slow, unhurried dine-in experience.

The menu centers around carefully crafted tea-based drinks, and it’s clear that each item is made with attention to detail. One of the standout choices is the Earl Grey Latte-smooth, aromatic, and balanced with just the right amount of creaminess. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more playful, the Choco Mint Rooibos offers a refreshing twist, blending chocolatey warmth with a cool mint finish. It’s the kind of drink that feels both indulgent and comforting at the same time.

For those who lean toward classics, the Matcha Latte delivers a rich, earthy flavor that feels authentic without being overpowering. Meanwhile, the Cortado is a solid pick for coffee lovers who want a break from tea but still appreciate a well-executed drink. And if you’re visiting on a colder day, the Hot Chocolate is a must-thick, velvety, and deeply satisfying.

What makes this tea house stand out isn’t just the drinks, though. The service options are thoughtfully designed to accommodate different needs. Whether you’re grabbing a quick takeout on the go or choosing to dine in and enjoy the calm setting, everything feels easy and accessible. The space also includes features like a wheelchair accessible parking lot and an assistive hearing loop, which adds a level of inclusivity that’s genuinely appreciated. On top of that, the environment is openly LGBTQ+ friendly, contributing to a welcoming and respectful atmosphere for everyone.

As you sit and take in the surroundings, it’s easy to notice how the location blends into the rhythm of Brooklyn life. Locals drop in, conversations flow naturally, and the overall experience feels authentic rather than staged. Reviews from regulars often highlight this exact feeling-the sense that this isn’t just another restaurant, but a place you return to because it feels familiar.

Between the thoughtfully prepared drinks, inclusive services, and relaxed setting, this tea bar offers more than just a stop for a beverage. It’s a small but memorable part of the neighborhood, where the menu, the atmosphere, and the people all come together in a way that feels genuine and easy to enjoy.

“ The Tea Bar is a wonderful little tea shop with an eclectic mix of teas and related accessories on Driggs Ave in Brooklyn. We had the Ginger Peach tea and the Currant tea and liked both. Drop by for the vibes and the great teas! ”

“ Very cute tea and coffee spot in Williamsburg, the seating by the window is the perfect vibe and the coffee I had was delicious, very welcoming atmosphere and a nice find just walking around ”

- Chase E -

“ I was in search of a place that served tea by the pot + though they don’t do that here, they have a great atmosphere, tea selections, + tea makers. One of the best golden lattes I’ve had and I wish I got the woman’s name who made it for me - I ordered it twice + purchased the golden tumeric chai, as well as the tumeric bliss loose leaves. I’ll be back for sure! ”

- Sky Bruno -

“ Great book and gift options! I put together a fantastic birthday gift bag for a friend using items sourced from this shop and it was perfect. Will definitely come back! ”

- Dalia Salazar -

“ A nice way to pass some time relaxing and experiencing a variety of hot or cold tea options. Seating is limited to a bar that faces the window but it's nice to have a seat on a hot summer day inside. Person working did seem knowledgable and was possible to have a conversation about options especially if you're undecided. Some notes though: no bathroom, limited samples to 3 options although the first 2 I didn't specifically ask for, no published tasting notes so you have to guess at the flavor profiles for a long list of flavors. ”
